I have bought the these before, and I love the solid colors. I especially need the medium green, because in some sets it is too watery and leaves little spots on the first coat. After the 1st coat dries, I can cover the spots with a second coat. But, there is always a chance that when the second coat dries parts of the areas on the paper absorb too much water, which creates a darker color than the rest of the area, and the paper underneath the dark spots is no longer smooth. I also find the same problem with your medium blue pen, but only the light blue is in the 12 pack. There are problems with the pastels in - orange, pink, blue and green - some of which could actually use a little more water. They go on a bit thick, so you can see light and heavier lines on the paper. I have bought Yoobi pens from Target for over 25 years. The problems seemed to begin in 2005 or 2007. But, as I said these issues are only with "some" of the pens. Back then I could afford to buy up to 5 of the Blister Packs (20 or 24 pens each) and come up with 3 sets of the solid colors. Now, I'm retired, and Target has quit making their own brand of "Up 'n Up colors" I absolutely love all of Yoobi's solid colors. There are some other brands of gel pens that don't even have PINK pens. I also bought your 30 Pack and 50 pack (I'm not sure of those numbers right now) and I look forward two trying out the dark green and navy blue. I know nothing about the difficulties of making gel pens, but I'm certain they are plentiful. I love the spectrum of Yoobi's colors, in that capacity you have ALL of the other brands beat. And even the "watery" colors stay within the lines of the pictures, they don't bleed across the paper. You just need better quality control. I would love to buy Yoobi pens with out having to wonder which ones won't work.
A couple pens take a second for the ink to flow but other than that I love them!
Okay, these pens are great. They have nice color, very vibrant, smooth, no skipping like other gel pens. There's a problem though. The pens run out of ink so quickly. As a casual writer, I enjoy to write in colorful gel inks because it makes my work look flawless. I have been using this pen to write and i legit wrote 5 paragraphs and my pen's ink is drastically changed compared to ones I haven't touched yet.
very nice-just what I was looking for.
What teacher doesn't love a dependable gel pen!! Love them and even better that the give!!!
