Top 5 Reasons Why We Love Working With For Purpose Kids

You’ve probably seen our campaign, #WhoWillYoobi, that we created to motivate and inspire the next generation of leaders by asking how they want to be when they grow up and how they want to change the world.  We love hearing the unique answers that kids come up with about how they’re going to make the world a better place both now, and for the future.

But, we don’t just ask kids - we ask the partners and businesses that we collaborate with as well to make sure that we’re all focused on a common goal.  That’s why we were so excited to be introduced to For Purpose Kids and to hear their answer to our all-important question, #WhoWillYoobi?

Their answer: The first social good kids brand focused on inspiring the next generation of global kid-izens by teaching kindness & doing good as a way of life.

Boom. Okay, that’s a brand we’d like to work with and get behind.  So, we set out to learn more about them, including how they teach kindness & “doing good” to kids. More importantly, we wanted to learn more on how we could work with them to help them along with their mission, that, in turn, would help us achieve ours.  Here’s what we found out:

For Purpose Kids helps children plant the seeds to grow a better future by learning to be kind and make the world a brighter place.  Their engaging toolkits are part of a quarterly subscription that inspires active learning for kids & families around helping people & communities, animals and the environment using multi-cultural characters as storytellers.

Would learning the things that For Purpose Kids inspires & teaches, help support our mission of motivating the next generation of leaders to change the world?  Absolutely it would! 

Now that we discovered that our missions were complimentary, we set out to see how we could help.  While they were working on their recent re-brand, we noticed that a key part of their Toolkits was their Journal of Purpose & Action, a place for kids to write down (or draw) their ideas and feelings about being kind & doing good.  So, we worked with them to design a beautiful, custom-made journal that would not only be fun for kids to use, but that they’d be excited to show off to their friends.

1. They are a give back company that gives back to kids, like we do.

Although our models are a little bit different, we love partnering with social good brands that have a give back component.  Whereas we have a one-for-one model, donating school supplies to kids in need for every item purchased, they donate meals & snacks to underserved kids in India attending makeshift schools in outdoor classrooms. Clearly, we both are very passionate about providing the tools necessary for young kids to thrive through education. 

2. They are focused on inspiring the next generation of world changers…just like us.
