Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! DIY Yoobi Birthday Hats

Posted by Yoobi Social on

Yoobi would like to wish our very good friend, Dr. Seuss, a Happy Birthday! He is turning a whopping 113 today – can you IMAGINE blowing out that many candles? What better way to celebrate this special day than with some fun DIY birthday party hats!

Yoobi has all the stuff you need to create a fun, easy, do it yourself birthday party hat. For a fun activity at any birthday party, use our Yoobi party hat downloadables! We’ve got plain, zig zag and polka dot printed hats for all occasions and party hat tastes, plus a step-by-step below to make it as easy as cake – birthday cake that is!

How to make your Yoobi Birthday Party Hat:

What you’ll need:

Step 1: Print out your favorite patterned Yoobi party hat (available in plain and Yoobi patterns).

Step 2: Decorate and color the template with crayons, markers, colored pencils and stamp rollers - maybe even draw our good friend Cat in the Hat on there!

Step 3: Glue along the dotted line and fold into a cone shape to create the hat.

Step 4: If you want to add a Yoobi toucan to your party hat, download him here and color in!

Step 5: Punch a hole in either side of the hat and tie a piece of string for the neck strap. If you don’t have a hole punch, you can just staple the string straight to the hat.

There you have it! Your hat is waiting, so… get on your way! Don’t forget to share your celebrations with us on Facebook and Instagram by tagging @Yoobi – we’d love to see you celebrate with us! #yoobigives

  • I was thinking that you guys should make bigger binders that are like 3,4,5,6 inches for teens. (just an idea)
