Semester Internship

Yoobi, an awesome company that donates one school supply item to a child in need for every item it sells, is looking for smart, hilarious and hard-working marketing interns to join its results-driven, creative and collaborative team! Interns gain hands on experience with regular reviews and guidance from Yoobi marketing staff. All interns will complete one semester-long project throughout their program to further Yoobi’s marketing initiatives as well as develop their professional portfolio. While there is some crossover in marketing support activities needed, Yoobi is looking for interns who have passion, interest and prior experience specific to the areas below:


MARKETING – BRAND & IMPACT (1 Spot Available)
  • Provide market research and analysis support across the marketing team
  • Perform competitor analysis and create monthly reports and updates
  • Assist in blog writing and support content idea brainstorms and story development
  • Seek out opportunities to elevate Yoobi as a thought leader and give-back brand in the social enterprise and education spaces
  • Assist in drafting and coordinating monthly email program geared toward teacher audience
  • Help coordinate and execute Yoobi give events and brand events to drive impact and awareness
  • Support marketing with sample inventory, gifting and donation inquiries
  • Organize photos, videos, and creative content for use on website
MARKETING - DIGITAL (1 Spot Available)
  • Assist with website copywriting, proofing, and updating as needed
  • Assist in community management by monitoring messages, questions and feedback from customers on social channels and review platforms.
  • Support in website optimization efforts to increase online visibility
  • Help creative team with planning, organizing and executing product photoshoots
  • Organize and tag products for specific campaigns within digital marketing tools
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Support the marketing team with various administrative tasks
  • Support with content creation, execution, and daily upkeep for Yoobi’s social channels
  • Help generate product and give content to help drive business
  • Participate in awesome Yoobi events to promote the brand
  • Integrate captured content from all events onto Yoobi's social calendar
  • Identify key bloggers, vloggers and influencers to generate future communication and partnerships
  • Deliver enticing blog content and creative DIY projects to incorporate onto the Yoobi Blog
  • Help create shot lists and be part of in-house photo shoots


  • Must love giving back and making a difference for kids in need!
  • Earn school credit for part time hours at Yoobi Headquarters (min. 2 days a week, with 3 days preferred)
  • Must have laptop that you can bring to the office
  • Prior internship or volunteering experience required
  • Must be well organized, a strong communicator and creative
  • Self-motivated, go-getter that can perform well both individually, and on a team
  • Resourceful, flexible, hard-working, and has an awesome sense of humor
  • Can handle working on several projects at once and under pressure, all while having a positive attitude
