Yoobi Retail absolutely LOVES events, especially when our events bring in Yoobi-fans that are making the world a better place! This past month, we had the pleasure of hosting a Los Angeles based Girl Scout troop in our store so they could receive their Savvy Shopper Badge. We can’t think of a better group of mini Yoobi ambassadors than these!
This extra special event was an awesome opportunity for the Girl Scouts to learn about business, retail, and giving back all in one. The Yoobi team worked together to make this an incredible learning opportunity for the girls to learn about how to run a business and receive a patch.
The associates at Yoobi Retail along with our marketing team gave the girls an interactive presentation on all things Yoobi. We talked about what we do, our mission, and our impact on kids in need in the U.S. thus far (1.2 million). We gave them a rundown of merchandising, explaining the reasons we place certain Yoobi items together, and how we choose what items get featured at the front of the store. We emphasized our give mission with the Girl Scouts by showing them our Give Wall, learn more about the awesome Yoobi Give Wall in this blog post. The girls even learned how to work the register and got to ring up their own purchases!
