Kindergarten is where children will build basic reading, writing, and math skills. In addition, this is a big year for social learning. Children learn to follow rules, get used to the routine of school, and learn to creatively interact with others their age.
SHOP KINDERGARTEN
1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders are on an adventure of discovery! During these years, kids will become more adept to paying attention, following instructions, and exercising self-control. During these years, friendships blossom and kids learn lots about social relationships and conflict resolution. They also learn to master the basics of reading, writing, and math.
SHOP 1ST - 3RD GRADE
4th and 5th graders are seasoned pros when it comes to knowing how school works. For many kids, these grades are years they start to feel “big”. 4th and 5th grade teachers use this bigness to challenge students to learn in bigger ways during these years. 4th and 5th graders will expand their learning beyond basics to learn about their sense of self, other cultures, different genres of literature, build their vocabulary, dive into different aspects of history, start exploring mathematical word problems, and so much more!
SHOP 4TH - 5TH GRADE
After transitioning to middle school and beyond, independence takes a front seat. Students learn to take on more responsibility for their school work, dive deeper into their academic achievements, and hone in on their extracurricular activities. Subjects are more complex, homework worksheets become longer, and students are faced with new challenges and ideas.
