Giving is at the heart of our business. It’s why we started and it’s what keeps us going. We promise that for every item we sell, we will donate a school supply item to a child in need. With your help, we’ve been able to impact the lives of millions of kids and we’re only getting started. It’s absolutely a team effort, and we’re so excited to introduce you to the all-star non-profits we work with who help make it all happen.
In the U.S. Yoobi works with the Kids In Need Foundation and their network of over 40 resource centers to distribute free school supplies to elementary schools across the U.S.
The Kids In Need Foundation works to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need. With their incredible resources and amazing partnership, we distribute Yoobi Classroom Packs to elementary schools across the U.S. where 70% or more of students are eligible for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program.
In Canada, Yoobi works with two non-profit partners, the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada to distribute free school supplies to children in need across Canada.
The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation is dedicated to putting books in the hands of Canadian children. Since 2004, the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation has committed over $28 million to 3,000 high-needs Canadian elementary school libraries, which has inspired over 900,000 students to fall in love with reading. In support of the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation’s existing programs, Yoobi will provide Yoobi Classroom Packs to high-needs elementary schools in Canada. With the Foundation’s long-standing dedication to inspiring Canadian children to become engaged students, the Foundation is able to identify schools with limited access to fundamental school supplies.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada are dedicated to providing safe, support places for children and youth to play, laugh, discover and learn. They’re Canada’s largest child and youth focused non-profit organization serving 200,000 youth annually, through life-changing programs that promote positive outcomes in education, active living, nutrition and mental health. In support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada’s existing programs, Yoobi will provide Yoobi Classroom Packs to club locations in areas where children have limited access to fundamental school supplies.
