Make reading fun with the cutest DIY reading accessory that we know your kids will enjoy making! Keep reading for our super easy, and super cute DIY popsicle stick bookmarks!

What you’ll need:

  • Craft Supplies (we used Yoobi's Craft Chest)
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paint
  • Scissors

Step 1: Choose your favorite colored Popsicle stick. If you're using a traditional wooden popsicle stick, feel free to whip out some paint and color away! What shade? Anything goes!

Step 2: Next, grab a felt sheet and cut out a flower shape that’s approximately 2 inches across. Repeat with a different color felt but make the second flower is smaller, so it fits inside the larger one. Glue both flowers together with the smaller flower on top. 🌼

Step 3: Using yellow felt, cut out a circle. Make sure it’s small enough to fit in the middle of the smallest flower, but big enough to fit two googly eyes  👀

Step 4: Hot glue the two eyes to your yellow circle, draw a smile and then glue to the center of the smaller flower.

Step 5: The final step! Glue the layered flower to the top third of the popsicle stick, then let your masterpiece dry.
