DIY Valentine’s Day Animal Crafts
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Yoobi has some cute DIY ideas you can create with friends and family! What better way to celebrate a season of love than with adorable critters? These are so easy to make using our Yoobi Craft Chest, filled with felt and foam sheets, pompoms, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, and more. So stock up on heart-shaped treats and have a little crafty party!
DIY Valentine’s Pets
What you’ll need:
- Felt or Foam Sheets
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pompoms and any other decorations your heart desires!
Step #1:
Pick out which colors of felt you want for your animal, and any other accessories like pompoms, feathers, glitter, etc.
Step #2:
Choose your animal and start cutting out your felt pieces in the shapes above to get ready for assembly.
Step #3:
Time to bring your animal to life! Start gluing on pieces to the body layer by layer, until it’s complete.
After it dries, write a sweet note on the back for a friend and share the love!
POMPOM LOVE BUGS
What you’ll need:
- Pipe cleaners
- Googly eyes
- Pompoms
- Glue
- Felt sheets (to cut into hearts for feet)
Step #1:
Cut out small hearts – these can be used for the base of your love bug. You can cut out as many as you want. They can be used for wings, faces, and anything else you can imagine!
After you have your hearts, glue onto the pompom for feet.
Step #2:
Now it’s time to get creative! You have the creative freedom to make your love bug look like anything you want. We wrapped pipe cleaners around a Yoobi washable marker to create its two antlers. What really makes it come to life is when the googly eyes are glued onto the pompoms – too cute!
Step #3:
Let your love bugs dry, and they’re ready to play!
