Yoobi interns are not just regular interns, they’re cool interns.
They are hands-on members of the Yoobi team and get to immerse themselves into tasks and work alongside different departments to see projects come to life. Take a look at our interns from this past fall semester, who despite all the goings of the world, were able to step in and provide a helping hand to our marketing department. We asked all 4 of our interns some questions, read along to see what they had to say!
Michaela worked with Yoobi as a Marketing Intern and will be graduating as a Marketing major with a minor in Studio Arts.
Are you distance learning? how has your experience been so far?
Distance learning has had its ups and downs for me. I really miss going to class and seeing everyone, but it has been nice to take time and really focus on my schoolwork and self-care.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I love to go to the beach, cook, make art, and watch The Office.
What's your favorite ice-cream?
My favorite ice cream is black raspberry!
What is some advice you could give for finding an internship?
Try going through people you already know. In my experience, if you know someone who has already worked at a company and can recommend you, you have a leg up. You'll also have a more realistic expectation of what the internship experience will be like.

Are you distance learning? how has your experience been so far?
Distance Learning, Personally, it is a struggle for me to feel organized while having work, school, and home life all in the same place, but I like that I don’t have the option to be late for things! LOL
What are your current and pre-covid extracurricular activities?
I loooove to watch movies, Netflix, watch youtube, go to Disneyland, color in coloring books, and cook!
What is your favorite ice-cream?
Wild berry Lavender from Jeni’s Ice Cream
What is your favorite yoobi supply?
My favorite product is the Yoobi chalk!!!
Pascale has been interning as our Graphic Design Intern, working away helping create colorful graphics and imagery that is featured on our website and social media.
What college do you go to + what’s your major + what year are you in?
I am currently a senior graphic design major at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
What has been your distance learning experience to so far?
My experience distance learning this semester has been positive. Even though I miss in-person classes, I enjoy learning within the comfort of my home and appreciate the amount of time I save not having to commute to school.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work and school?
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, watching films, and reading books!
What's your favorite ice-cream?
My favorite ice-cream flavor is strawberry.
What's your favorite Yoobi product?
My favorite yoobi supply is the Undated Weekly Calendar Notepad-Birds of Paradise. This planner helps me stay organized and the design is really cute!
Amanda was our Digital Marketing intern and is in her sophomore year at Loyola Marymount University. She is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Studio Art.
Are you distance learning? how has your experience been so far?
I am doing distance learning and although it is a bummer, I am having a blast spending time with my roommates!
What do you do in your spare time?
In my free time, I like to do art, listen to music on my record player, and am trying to learn how to skate and surf!
What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
My favorite ice cream flavor is rocky road.
What advice do you have for finding an internship?
it would be to have confidence in yourself and your abilities and don’t be shy to put yourself out there!
