Yoobi Holiday DIY: Reindeer Pen Holders
‘Tis the season of endless amounts of gifts and cups of peppermint hot cocoa by the fireplace. With the holiday season never slowing down for anyone, the fun continues with our DIY craft that will add the festive flair we all need on our desks! Our reindeer pen holder is the perfect craft to hold all of your pencils, pens, and highlighters. We also used this pen holder as a make-shift fun container to hold all of our candy canes to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. Perfect for both at home or in the classroom, this reindeer will be holding all your supplies just before Santa Clause comes through the chimney!
Here are five steps to create this festive DIY craft that will get you and your classroom ready for the North Pole!
What you’ll need
- Flower Pots (any size, any color)
- Googly Eyes
- Glue
- Craft Decorations (i.e., glitter, stars, beads, etc.)
Step #1: Materials
Gather all materials needed: pots, googly eyes, glue, and any craft decorations.
Step #2: Cut out Antlers
Cut and form your antlers for your reindeer. Set aside.
Step #3: Glue Items
Apply the glue to the antlers, googly eyes, as well as the pom-pom nose. Place each feature on the pot and firmly press down. Let dry.
Step #4: Dry & Decorate
Decorate the rest of your reindeer pot with any decorations. Be creative and as silly as you want!
Step #5:
Repeat the above steps for as many reindeer pots you desire.
