What You’ll Need:

  • Yoobi Paint Pens (or any paint you have!)
  • Paper
  • Needle
  • Thread
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Ruler
  • Tape, glue or stickers

Step 1: Measure and cut. Measure the size of your card and cut it out. *Tip: Use a ruler if you prefer a straighter cut!

Step 2: Fold it. Fold your paper long ways into the shape of a greeting card.

Step 3: Design your own border. Grab your markers or Yoobi paint pens and color a fun design on the edges of your card.

Step 4: Let’s get threading. Get your thread and needle. Make sure you have enough to go around the edges. Poke your first hole into your card and start embroidering along the edges. *Tip: Tie a double knot so it doesn’t go through. Make sure to cut the string at the end of embroidering.

Step 5: Decorate! Decorate your card with some pizzazz! Add your flair to your card using your Yoobi paint pens, glitter, stickers, and more.

Step 6: Create an envelope. Using a ruler, cut out an 8x10 piece of paper and place your card at the bottom of the 8x10 paper. Fold the two edges inwards, over top of the card.

Step 7: Fold and seal. Fold the bottom of the page over the top of the folded edges. Use tape, glue or even stickers to seal the sides and the top.

Step 8: Stamp and send it off! Pop a stamp on the top right corner of your envelope, address it to your friend or family member, and send it out in the mail to make their day!
