What you’ll need:
- A white surface for your painting
- Canvas, cardstock, construction paper, etc.
- A pencil
- Yoobi washable paint brush pens (or any paint and brushes you have at home!)
- Glitter glue
- A thin paint brush
Step 1: Draw your outline. Use a pencil to lightly sketch out a vase. Make sure to leave a few inches from the bottom for the table cloth. Add some scalloped, curved lines for the top rim of your vase. Draw a horizontal line halfway down the vase to mark your tabletop line.
Step 2: Fill in the vase. Use a yoobi paint pen to color in your vase. *Tip: Have a piece of scrap paper handy so you can test out the flow and color of your paint before marking your canvas!
Step 3: Add a tablecloth. Use a different yoobi paint pen and color in the rectangle of your tablecloth. If you want to add some texture, dollop some glitter glue along the paint and use a dry paintbrush to blend the two together.
Step 4: Plant your flowers! Use the rest of your yoobi paint pens to add flowers into your vase. Create a mix of different shapes and colors to give your bouquet a unique look! *Tip: Lightly squeeze a green paint pen for a thin stem. The harder you squeeze, the thicker your lines will be.
Step 5: Finish with the details. Now that the base layer of your tablecloth is dry, take a white paint pen and add a grid design for a checkered look!
