Millions of kids in Canada do not have fundamental school supplies to learn and be successful. This affects not only their school work — it affects their confidence. So teachers step in and spend their own money to make sure children can learn. We want to help alleviate the burden, and level the playing field so all kids have an equal shot at learning.

1.2 million children in Canada may lack
 access to fundamental
learning tools. Canadian teachers spend $200 million out-of-pocket each year on
books and learning materials. Canadian children who
 struggle with literacy are 4 times more likely to drop out of high school.
