The Role

As Director, Licensing & Partnership Management, you'll help identify, evaluate, and develop the partnerships that support our portfolio growth ambitions.

Working closely across our cross-functional team, you'll help ensure licensing and partnership recommendations are grounded in consumer relevance, retailer priorities, cultural trends, and business opportunity.

You'll stay connected to what's emerging across entertainment, culture, retail, social media, and consumer behavior—helping the organization identify opportunities that strengthen our brands, excite retailers, and create meaningful consumer connections.

Just as importantly, you'll build and manage the relationships that bring those opportunities to life, while helping expand Yoobi's presence and influence across the licensing, retail, and consumer products community.

This role is equal parts relationship builder, opportunity evaluator, collaborator, and business leader—helping ensure the right partnerships are identified, assessed, and activated in support of our broader portfolio and growth objectives.


What You'll Own

Licensing & Partnership Development

You will help identify the partnerships that support our portfolio growth priorities.

·         Identify licensing and partnership opportunities aligned to portfolio and brand priorities

·         Evaluate opportunities through the lens of consumer relevance, retailer priorities, cultural trends, and business impact

·         Develop recommendations and business cases for new partnerships and program opportunities

·         Help identify whitespace opportunities and emerging areas of relevance

·         Support portfolio growth through thoughtful partnership recommendations

Opportunity Evaluation & Portfolio Recommendations

You will help ensure the organization invests in the right opportunities at the right scale.

·         Assess partnership opportunities through the lens of consumer demand, retailer interest, commercial potential, and portfolio fit

·         Develop business cases and "size of prize" estimates to support decision-making

·         Evaluate opportunity upside, investment requirements, and potential risks

·         Help determine the appropriate level of investment, commitment, and scale for new programs

·         Provide recommendations that balance growth potential with business and operational realities

·         Support leadership in making informed decisions about where to invest and where to say no

Relationship & Partner Management

You will build and manage the relationships that bring our programs to life.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with licensors, agents, and strategic partners

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for licensing partners

·         Manage ongoing partnership relationships and business reviews

·         Ensure strong collaboration and execution across partnership programs

·         Position Yoobi as a valued and innovative partner within the industry

Industry & Trend Leadership

You will help ensure Yoobi stays connected to what's next.

·         Monitor trends across entertainment, culture, retail, design, social media, and consumer behavior

·         Identify emerging properties, brands, creators, and partnership opportunities

·         Represent Yoobi at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and partner meetings

·         Build and expand relationships across the licensing, retail, and consumer products communities

·         Bring external insights and market intelligence back into the organization

·         Act as an ambassador for the Yoobi brand and mission

Cross-Functional Portfolio Leadership

You will help ensure partnerships strengthen the broader portfolio and support retailer success.

·         Partner closely across Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Operations

·         Help ensure partnership recommendations align with portfolio priorities and growth plans

·         Collaborate on retailer-facing stories and opportunities that help customers solve problems and drive category growth

·         Support successful execution of licensed programs from concept through launch

·         Create alignment across stakeholders and external partners
