Sales Operations Analyst
Location: Bentonville, AR (on-site)
Yoobi, a purpose-driven company with giving at its core, is seeking an analytical, entrepreneurial Sales Operations Analyst to own the full commercial cycle for our Walmart, Sam's Club, and select national account business, from assortment planning through P&L review.
This is an opportunity to own five key commercial levers: assortment planning, demand forecasting, inventory and PO management, in-season replenishment, and the full reporting stack from POS through margin and P&L.
Role Summary
Based in Bentonville, you will be Yoobi's boots on the ground for all things Walmart and Sam's Club, working closely with account leadership and the broader sales operations team to protect in-season revenue and margin, sharpen assortment planning, and build the reporting foundation our business runs on. This same analytical rigor will extend to other national accounts as needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Own demand forecasting and inventory ladder management for owned accounts, integrating sales voice, retailer signals, and capacity reality into a defended monthly view
- Build and maintain the inventory flow plan, monitor PO release versus commit, track mod set and OOA POs, and flag discrepancies before they become recovery problems
- Lead the weekly chase and cancel data prep and decision meeting; action approved decisions across factory, customer service, and finance, and track downstream impact
- Manage in-season replenishment and in-stock reporting, including diagnosis and a clear plan of action
- Support pre-season line review, slot plan build, and innovation sessions with POS, competitive, and category analytics that defend item count, shelf share, and price points
- Run weekly and monthly POS and category insights turning data into a sharp commercial narrative for sales and customer-facing meetings
- Support monthly P&L reviews for the Walmart business, including margin, markdown, and rollback economics, JBP analytics, and scenario modeling
- Track and manage account chargebacks, identifying root-cause fixes and recovery, and working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations
- Track and reconcile Vendor Income, including co-op, allowances, and billback funds, against agreed terms
- Prepare quarterly business financial recaps for the Walmart and National account business
Skills
- Excel power user (SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH, XLOOKUP, pivot tables), comfortable with large, complex workbooks
- Strong commercial instincts; able to spot the story behind the numbers and defend a point of view to a sales lead, a buyer, or a CFO
- Builder mindset: direct, fast, and low-ego; builds the model, the deck, and the recommendation rather than waiting for a template
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude to speed up analysis and drafting
- Clear, concise communication with internal and retailer-facing partners
- Financially detail-oriented, with comfort producing recurring, executive-ready financial recaps
Experience
- 5+ years in sales operations, planning, category management, or retail analytics
- CPG, stationery/school supplies, toys, or consumer brands experience preferred, or top retailer planner / replenishment analyst experience
- Hands-on experience with Walmart Retail Link and Supplier One, and at least one major retail analytics platform: Numerator, NielsenIQ, or Scintilla (formerly Walmart Luminate)
- SQL or Python exposure is a plus
- Experience managing chargebacks, deductions, or vendor income reconciliation with a major retailer
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Bentonville, AR area
