Here are five steps to create these wonderful little holi-yay reminders for your home or classroom!
What you’ll need
- Construction Paper or any brown paper bag
- Glue
- Scissors
- Googly Eyes
- Pom-Poms
Step #1: Materials
Gather all materials: paper, glue, scissors, googly eyes, pom-poms, and any other decorations you desire.
Step #2: Cut Strips
Using scissors, cut the paper into about 1-1/2 in width by 5 inches in length. For one reindeer, you want a total of four strips of paper to use. The strips do not have to be perfectly cut. Set aside.
Step #3: Assemble Reindeer
Take each strip and start wrapping them around each other to form a ball. To make it easier, glue each piece after each strip is wrapped around. Let dry.
Step #4: Glue Decorations
Apply glue to pom-poms, googly eyes, and other decorations that make up your reindeer's facial features.
Step #5: Repeat
Continue the steps above until the desired number of paper reindeers are made.
For Even More Fun
Tie or glue a string at the top of the reindeer to make an ornament out of it! A unique holiday gift to give to anyone this Winter season!
